About Me

Hello! My name is Jiantong QIN, an incoming Ph.D. student at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), where I will be supervised by Prof. Helen Meng.

Before that, I received my B.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence from CUHK in 2026 as a member of the Faculty of Engineering’s ELITE Stream, supervised by Prof. Michael R. Lyu. I am also working closely with Dr. Jen-tse Huang on evaluating AI models from social science perspectives.

Currently, my research focuses on LLM-based agents, with particular interests in Research Agents and reasoning-enhanced Agentic Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). More broadly, I am interested in understanding and improving the reliability, reasoning, and decision-making capabilities of AI agents. I am also actively exploring emerging research directions to broaden my knowledge and deepen my expertise.
